Privacy Policy

Chicken Rice Lover (“we”, “us”) is a site for finding and ranking chicken rice stalls, available at chickenricelover.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

We collect:

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, photo, and a Google account ID. We store these so we can create your account, keep you signed in, and show your name and photo next to reviews you publish.
• Reviews. Ratings, review text, and optional photos you submit, along with the time you wrote or updated them. Reviews are public and appear with your name and photo.
• Saved stalls. A private list of stalls you save. Other people cannot see this list.
• Sign-in and security. Sign-in cookies and, when available, your IP address and browser type. We use these to keep you signed in and to protect accounts.
• Usage and server logs. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Details such as IP address, pages visited, and times may be recorded in hosting logs so we can run, fix, and protect the site.

We do not collect payment details, and we do not use your phone’s location. City pages are lists you choose to browse, not tracking.

Google sign-in is the only way to create an account. We use your Google account information only to:

• Sign you in and keep you signed in
• Create and identify your Chicken Rice Lover account
• Display your name and profile photo on reviews you choose to publish

We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, retargeting, or credit decisions. We do not share it with other apps or services except as needed to host and operate this site, or if required by law.

We use cookies only to keep you signed in after you sign in with Google. We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not run tracking ads on the site.

You can browse stalls without an account. If you block cookies, you may not be able to stay signed in, leave reviews, or save stalls.

We work with these companies:

• Google. Sign-in, and stall names, addresses, ratings, photos, and map links (Google Maps). That stall information comes from Google and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts.
• Cloudflare. Hosts the site, stores our data, stores review photos you upload, and keeps server logs.

Those companies handle data under their own policies. We do not control what Google or Cloudflare collect on their own.

Reviews, including your name, profile photo, and any photos you attach, are public. Rankings from those reviews are also public.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the service or other people, or if we transfer the service to a successor operator (with this policy still applying or with notice of changes).

We do not sell personal information.

We keep your account, reviews, and saved stalls for as long as your account exists. Sign-in cookies expire when you sign out or delete them. Hosting logs are kept only as long as needed to run and protect the site.

If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account, saved stalls, and reviews tied to that account.

You can:

• Browse the site without creating an account
• Update a review you previously wrote for the same stall
• Remove stalls from your saved list
• Email hello@chickenricelover.com to request a copy of your account data, a correction, or deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, including access, deletion, and objection to certain processing. We will respond to verified requests.

Chicken Rice Lover is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

We host the site with Cloudflare. Your information may be stored in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different privacy laws.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
