Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Chicken Rice Lover at chickenricelover.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Chicken Rice Lover lists chicken rice stalls, shows details from Google Maps, and ranks them using reviews from people who sign in. Rankings are people’s opinions, not health or food-safety advice.

We are not affiliated with Google, the restaurants listed, or any stall owner unless we say so. Listing a stall does not mean we recommend it.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to that Google account secure.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are abusive, automated, or fraudulent.

You keep ownership of the reviews you write. By submitting a review, you grant Chicken Rice Lover a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and adapt that content in connection with the Service (for example, on stall pages and in rankings).

You agree that your reviews will:

• Reflect your genuine experience at the stall
• Not impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity
• Not include illegal content, hate speech, harassment, spam, malware, or others’ private information
• Not be posted in exchange for payment or other undisclosed incentive

Reviews are public. We may edit, refuse, or remove content that violates these Terms or that we believe harms the Service or other people. We are not obligated to monitor every review.

You may not:

• Copy the site automatically, overload it, or try to break how it works, except as allowed by law
• Bypass sign-in, use another person’s account, or interfere with the site
• Use the Service to send spam or to collect personal information about other users
• Copy stall details from Google Maps in a way that violates Google’s terms

When you sign in, you may leave reviews with ratings, text, and up to four photos per review. Photos you attach are stored on Cloudflare and shown publicly with your review. Only upload photos you have the right to share.

Names, addresses, ratings, photos, and map links for stalls come from Google Maps. That information may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Use it at your own risk, and check Google Maps or the stall itself before you visit.

Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to Google’s products. Photos and attributions shown on the Service remain subject to Google’s content rules.

The Service’s design, branding, rankings, and original text (other than user reviews and stall details from Google Maps) belong to Chicken Rice Lover or its licensors. You may not copy the site as a competing product without permission.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that rankings are accurate, that listed stalls are open, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Food, hygiene, price, and wait times change. Visit at your own judgment.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chicken Rice Lover and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or from reliance on rankings or stall information.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (currently zero, because the Service is free) or USD $50.

You will defend and indemnify Chicken Rice Lover against claims arising from your reviews, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent we caused the claim.

We may change these Terms, or suspend or stop the Service, at any time. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when the Terms change. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the new Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, email hello@chickenricelover.com.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a court finds a provision unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service.
